This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies OnlyMedia uses on this website and through its advertising platform, what each category does, how long it lasts, and how you can control it. It supplements our <a href='/privacy'>Privacy Policy</a>.

1. Introduction

Cookies are small text files a site or service stores on your device. Advertising depends on them and on similar technologies to cap frequency, measure delivery and keep bad traffic out. This page separates the technologies used on onlymedia.co itself from those used through the platform on publisher properties.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies

Alongside browser cookies we use pixel tags and web beacons, local and session storage, software development kits in apps, and limited device signals for fraud screening. We do not use invasive fingerprinting; where device characteristics are read, the purpose is security and invalid-traffic detection.

3. How we use cookies

On this website, to keep the site working, remember choices and understand aggregate usage. In the platform, to make advertising work end to end: matching impressions to buyers, capping how often a person sees the same creative, measuring views and video completion, detecting invalid traffic, syncing identifiers between contracted partners, and attributing conversions where permitted.

4. Types of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary. Security, session integrity and consent preferences on this site and the console. These cannot be switched off without breaking the service.
  • Performance and analytics. Aggregated measurement of how this site is used, so we can improve pages and documentation. Optional.
  • Functionality. Console preferences such as saved views, date ranges and display settings. Optional.
  • Targeting and advertising. Identifiers used to deliver relevant advertising, cap frequency and measure outcomes on publisher inventory. Placed under the consent basis supplied by the publisher. Optional.

5. Third-party cookies

Some measurement on this website is performed by contracted providers acting on our instructions. On publisher properties, identifiers may be synced with vetted demand and measurement partners under contract. We do not control third-party cookies; their own notices govern, and category 4 above tells you how to turn off what we place.

6. Advertising cookies in our platform

The identifiers our tags set on publisher properties, or pass through OpenRTB 2.6 bid requests, serve real-time bidding, frequency capping, targeting and suppression, fraud prevention, cookie syncing, attribution and cross-device measurement where lawfully permitted. Publishers are contractually responsible for obtaining any user consent their audience requires before our tags load, and our systems honour the consent signals their consent management platforms pass, including TCF strings.

7. Cookie duration

Some cookies are session-only and disappear when the browser closes. Persistent ones carry an expiry: platform advertising identifiers are set for no more than thirteen months; website analytics for no more than twenty-six months; strictly necessary session tokens only as long as the session requires. After expiry the data is deleted or aggregated.

8. Managing your cookie preferences

  • On this site: a consent banner offers accept, reject or settings for every optional category, and your choice can be changed at any time from the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
  • In your browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all let you block or delete cookies through their privacy settings.
  • Industry opt-outs: the NAI, DAA and EDAA choice pages cover interest-based advertising across many member companies at once.
  • Mobile: on iOS, Settings, Privacy, Tracking; on Android, Settings, Google, Ads.
  • On a publisher's property: use the consent choices offered on that property, which our tags honour automatically.

Questions about cookies can also go to cookies@onlymedia.co.

9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honour Global Privacy Control signals as a valid opt-out of sale or sharing of personal information where U.S. state law applies. Because there is no agreed industry meaning for Do Not Track, we do not currently respond to it; your browser's cookie controls and the choices above remain available.

10. Updates to this policy

We update this page before a new category of cookie or similar technology goes live, and refresh the effective date at the top of the document.
